You will take responsibility for the concept, design and development of new ideas into feasible and commercially viable products for manufacture. This will involve using computer aided engineering techniques in addition to developing a clear understanding of the capabilities of the Group's production. At LuK we believe in not only meeting customer requirements, but exceeding them, the main emphasis being on individual solutions rather than standard parts. After an initial period in Sheffield, successful candidates will spend up to two years at the Group Head Office design department in Southern Germany, near the Black Forest. You will then have the opportunity to be based anywhere in the LuK Group UK or worldwide.

Ideally qualified to at least HND level, you might have some experience within a medium or high volume manufacturing / engineering environment. Candidates must be willing to relocate for the two year period in Germany and also learn the language.
