The program

In approx. 12 months you will gain European exposure and experience. You will need to display a desire to perform as part of a team in a creative and dynamic environment. You will be given responsibility requiring you to organise your workload and be proactive. Through the guidance of your mentor you will gain a thorough understanding of your chosen field. You will be exposed to up to date procedures and have modern systems available to you. Engineering students will gain invaluable skills and experience of the production of our products.

Objectives

• Provide support to Technical Planners by gathering information from technical drawing to create programs
• Develop knowledge and skills with regard to technical drawings, create/allocate/alter tool locations in the factory, display/change route sheets and bill of materials for parts and tooling, check stock, create in-house orders for Tool Room and create T-projects (i.e. tool design/modification) for tool design
• Gather information to create spin test, laser and SPC programs
• Create/amend programs on the Tractor/Car line via T700W laser marker software and Pin Marker software/hardware
• Create/amend programs on the Tractor/Car line via Q-DAS Procella measurement software to measure tolerances and Spin test software and hardware to measure torques, check alignment of pads, thickness and load.
• Create/amend display programs to display assembly instructions on the lines
• Use SAP to create external orders
