The job

By the end of your training, you will be well qualified to perform all tasks related to the demands of a modern business; you will be exposed to modern techniques and be included in day to day activities. The departments you could experience would include HR, Accounts, and Purchasing; we have also some requirement within the IT Department where you could be supporting a modern and vibrant business working at the cutting edge of technology. You will be given responsibility requiring you to organise your workload and be proactive. Through the guidance of your mentor you will gain a thorough understanding of your chosen field.

The minimum educational requirement is GCSE Level Grades A – C; 3 subjects including Maths and/or Science

The training

After receiving well-rounded basic training, you will:

• Learn basic administration skills
• Learn Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Provide first level user support and support the IT Team (IT App)
• Support hardware (PCs, printers, switches) (IT App)
• Install PCs within a highly automated environment (IT App)
• Update firmware (IT App)
• Develop knowledge and skills of our business processes and procedures
• Keep data up to date in SAP system
• Achieve NVQ Level 2 & 3, key skills, basic Health & Safety requirements
• You will be expected to achieve additional Academic qualifications
• Be skilled to compete within a modern office/administration environment after 4 – 5 years

Training lasts 3-4 years
